So i got the carbs off the bike and well number 4 air/fuel screw is shot and by that i mean rounded any input would be extremely helpful

No they'll be OK for parts. Add your float bowl into the equation and the spare part from Yamaha and the price of repair goes up. So you might as well look for a bolt off bolt on solution.

I hear you bud ive just had them ultrasonically cleaned and that screw removed looking for a replacement

Oh - I thought it was rounded off and still in there ... Price one up from Yamaha. Try Fowlers you'll need to give them the frame number and you'll probably need to know which carb it came from.

Does anybody know what the pilot screw part number is for a 3tj1 also where the frame number and engine numbers are pictures would be a bonus thanks

Frame number is on the headstock and on the V5 doc. All these bikes have only 1WG on the engine

I *think the Yamaha part number for the 3TJ1 pilot screw is 12R-14105-00. You should get the screw, a spring, a metal washer and a small o-ring.

You may find it cheaper to get it from Allens Performance. http://www.allensperformance.co.uk/

They will need to know the year and Yamaha model code of the bike (3TJ1), and the model of carb fitted, which is BDST32 (??). The same carb body is used for the FZR600 3HE but is sidedraught so has different float bowl arrangement. I have a NOS no4 carb from a 3HE here and the pilot screw is different/longer :|
