ok so we did as Skinnydog sugested, the mech put in a gasket, but no luck, still bogs down at 4500 RPM
any other ideas

Is this bogging down still occuring after a run at 140kmph or just at any time?

it was fine for a few days, can take her all the way up the rev and speed range,it now happens everyday after about 20min ride, bogs down and I have to ride under the 4000 rpm mark, the bogging is through out the rev range after the 20 min

my 10 rand is on the vacuum hose being weak and collapsing when hot..which will reduce fuel flow..
So, check that out bra!

Checked the tank breather, its fine, on the way to work this morning I noticed that the bogging started same place as yesterday and around the same corner, so I turned around and went around than same corner again and guess what the bogging went away so long story short I seem to be having an electrical problem, I must admit that corner has a bad dip in the road,
any suggestions where I could start looking ,

Is the "bogging down" a loss of performance similar to running onto reserve or is it a misfire where some of the cylinders cut on and off.
