Connect it to a 12v ignition on source, but you'll need to solder a 2.2k resistor inline also (only a few pennies from an electrical shop).

I'm new.Just inform me to connect 12V from where( just name it ).battery also have 12V.And the wire connected to 12V need to solder with 2.2K resistor?Can you draw me some diagram so that I can copy it.really need your help on this.

Does this mean if you cut that wire your bike will be de-restricted at the clocks and will go to it's top speed? Asking coz i can only do 120mph on my nc and it cuts out with nothing happening, you have to roll the throttle off to 120 to keep it goin.

No, you need to put in that 2k2 resistor but then it will be de-restricted.

Although I'm not 100% sure you really need a resistor as our track bike has just a wire link and runs fine. Best not risk it and to do it with a resistor though.

Yeah I agree, but others tell me it's safer to install a resistor.

Can you solder and aren't scared to modify your wiring? If so then yes dead easy.

Cost you something like 18p for the resistor from maplins.
