If it bothers you that much, try Saddlecraft for a re-cover. They've done a few for me in the past and the service and quality are excellent.

Thanks thunderace, I'm happy with it now to be honest, it's started to show a bit of wear but I think I'll leave getting it re coated until I do my plastics and tank.
