After everything I've read today about Ebc discs I don't think I'll bother to be perfectly honest they seem to be more Agro than their worth

I think the ones on me old fzr disc were worse than that!!! Can you just get some new bobins from somewere you used to be able to buy them.
Just had a look on ebay and theres a few on there.

Only 3 of the bobbins screw together the rest are pressed in

There is some HEAVY corrosion on the back sides of those rotors, I'm sure that contributed. That said, I remember when EBCs shipped with replacement bobbins for the end user to press into place themselves...
And I've not heard anything bad on EBCs. I race on Pro Lites and they've treated me very well.

The blue centre, race only, discs used to ship with a replacement set of bobbins iirc. Do they even do the blue centre discs anymore? The old pro lights were like mogwai, whatever you do, don't get them wet!
