Anyone have the spec / code of the dial bulbs handy. I discovered the other night I can see about 1/4 of the Rev counter and sod all else :o - lol. Not really overly concerned as I spend my time looking forward not down, but it would be nice to be able to keep an eye on things and an easy fix to be fair.

Currently in Germany so it would be nice to have the specs/numbers so I can get a handfull of spare bulbs before I start taking things apart so I can do the job in a single sitting...not nose off, bulbs out then go hunting for some etc etc

Cheers

Sorry mate, no luck, I think they were 12V 1.2W, sorry my vague guess doesn't help

Dude - you are a star

P.S - have you thought about trying something like this on your seat (http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B006QQ01DS/r ... wo=&hvqmt=) ;)

P.P.S - WRT your rattling front end, I had something similar and it turned out to be the front mudguard. The brakets that go onto the forks wear and rattle like B*****d. If it is that you can solve it with a sligle wrap of electrical tape underneith the brackets ;)

Manual says 12V 1.7W, I wanted to avoid stuff like that to prevent Red marks etc. on bottoms/shoes. Shoe polish comes off easily. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Here's what i used, came in a different packet but that's the same rating and looking bulb.

Infact I'm pretty sure that's the exact bulb (286) it's just in a motorcycle branded packet. I guess it being 1.2W not 1.7W just means it's not as bright as intended. But I can see all my clocks fine now!

Cheers matey - about to knock myself off early and will pick some up on the way home

Did you not my edited post above (think we were both typing at the same time) RE; your front end rattle. Worth a check and an easy fix if it is that.

Just make sure you push them in tightly and check them before you replace them in the clock, need to be secure or wobble loose, I didn't need tape or anything but one of them kept going out when I put it in the clock.
I did thank you, it's a really clunk so I don't think it's that, also gave my mudguard a push with my hand and it doesn't seem to rattle.
If you check my thread you can see how wobbly my rads are, I think it may be the bottom rad swinging forward.
