My set-up will probably work with most of the stator/rotors of old GSXR-Rs. However, the design was started with a 2005 set-up and we recently ordered/received the 2007 to find it fits right up. It's lighter than the 2005 (which is REALLY LIGHT) and costs the same - we bought new.

I thnk the older stuf (2004 and earlier) is too big for our set-up.

I don't see why this won't work on a GSX-R400, or other Hondas. Both brands are very good about staying with a common system. You would just have to get inside and see what you got.

Mine is from an 08 GSXR1000 (whatever K that is). Rick told me that one was the lightest I could use. I'm 99% sure that's the same one on the RSV4 as well. The stator and flywheel look exactly the same.

With it, the engine spools up noticeably quicker but it bogs down easier when taking off from a stand still.

I've had no issues and it's been over 6 months since I fitted it.
