What a shame sorry to see that.
Looking at your garage you're very lucky it didn't all go up in smoke!
Could it be the start of a new project?

Gutted. Could've been a hell of a lot worse though.

Looks bad but mainly cosmetic. I'd say the dust sheet caught and burnt over the bodywork but I'd expect the actual bike to be OK.

Know the feeling, must be really gutted

Happened to my old RD400

The petrol tank ended up looking like a balloon, firebrigade said I was lucky as it the tank could have exploded at any moment

I had a honda vt250fd that caught fire - eventually the petrol cap blew off and a flame shot out the top.

Thanks for all of your responses it's nice to have support off you guys ;)
There are a few tail sections on the bay and rider and pillion seats, if I can get an SP tail it might be better for me as I don't carry any pillions and would suit this Marlboro paint scheme I'm thinking of, love the colours of my bike but I'm thinking it might be harder to replicate???
Anyway waiting to hear from accessor from insurance hope I can buy it back as funds are limited. Could anyone give me a rough idea on what electrical parts I will need assuming everything is fried from battery to rear light?
I'm sure I'll have a load of stupid questions flying your way soon so please bear with me I don't have a clue about electrics!
I should hopefully be able to get the paint done in the body shop we use in work, need to have a search for paint codes I'm sure I've seen them somewhere.
Sorry to hear about your bikes Wraith and Boris are you still wounded by your experiences? I know I am at the moment
