Oh okay, cool - I follow. Thanks for the offer though, I will let you know. At the moment I dont need anything specific... my actual problem is that when I get into something I get a bit over enthusiastic so now I'm looking to read everything I can, especially the stuff which was written at the time of the bikes release, I am going to look for some original road tests as well. (I have a 1970 Alfa Romeo and I have all its nostalgic nonsense as well :roll: )

Nothing wrong with that, but honestly the Haynes has more useful info in it as does the service manual.
it would be nice to scan one day, but i think it would fall apart, its quite fragile sadly.

Without trashing it a modern decent 10mp+ digicam should be able to take photos good enough to read clearly and preserve the original book.

Should also be quicker than faffing around with a scanner.

I also have the owners manual & service book along with the owners card so thats two of us.
