The graphic heavy bike will cost a lot more to complete. The full graphics sets are around £120 whereas the TYPE 6 is half that.

Have a read of this thread discussing chinese fairings and shows some pics of my bike.

I kinda wished I had gone for the Black TYPE 6 when I was repairing/fixing my fairing. It was a TYPE 1 ( red and white ) with no middle or lower fairings when I bought it. In fact it was totally and utterly fooked.

In the long run I'm happy with how mine came out, but the cost and hassle will make me think twice next time.

You are the only one was has got to ride it!

The Type 6 has minimal decals, but where it scores is the paint. It's got a candy red type flake / glitter which looks great. especially in the Sunshiine 8-)

That's interesting, I thought it was just black. If its got a flake in it I can imagine that looks very good in the flesh.

type 1 - Red & White with the blue bits - can't beat it (but I'm biased...). RW&B looks awesome on a bike, especially with white wheels.

Really interesting to read your experiences. I've had a quote from image works for the same price. Do you rate their graphics? By that I mean are they like the originals? Also, how much of a pain was it to repair the originals? One of the hallmarks of the eBay fairings appears to be needing to adapt to fit.

Really nice bike in the end though, very impressed.

How about some pictures? White wheels could be a complete winner

hi Max, within that link by gullarm you will see a link from me with a picture of the type 7 by imageworks, slightly reworked by me. Also as said by me it depends how accurate you want them to be, might be close enough for you?

I read that as they're good but not exactly as manufacturers spec. Entirely understandable if they're reproducing them by eye.

Maybe I should just go mad max style and have broken fairings with road kill stuck to them.

I've decided to order some custom design fairings from one of the eBay sellers to dress the bike in.

I'm also going to repair the existing panels for use on the track and as a back up if the new ones are complete tat.

Will update when I order them and what they're like etc.... Not going to be for a few months as project NC29 is on hold whilst I recover from a back op.
