Bike was running rich and idled a tad higher than normal.
Changed the pilot jets back to standard and the mains to 120f 122r.
It won't start now either, and just backfired at me.

Might be a tad too rich

Maybe pilot screws set at 2 turns out instead of 2.25 then?
Plus check the pilot circuit.
Any more ideas other than that?

No air leaks, carb's are seating properly and all tightened up.
They were very clean inside to me...
How was it running before you messed with it?
Tried putting the pilot screws back in a little?
I'd say its too rich and you've killed the plugs.

Possibly, would it not have been too rich before with the pilot jets being 38's and the screws all set differently?
Plus there were two washers under each needle and I've take those out, not that that should matter much for idle though....
If I remember they were something like: 2, 2.25, 2.75 and 3 turns out.
Check my build thread, I think I posted up a picture of the sheet I wrote my findings on.
Regardless I shall pull the plugs, give them a good clean and re-set the pilot screws to 2 turns out. Might get time tonight after work, but most likely tomorrow now.

Take the rear plugs out straight after it dies and see whether they're wet, if they are that's a problem.

You guys were right as usual :D
Pilots set to 2 turns out instead of 2.25 and she runs and idles perfectly
Has a slow drop to idle though and is a rough idle, but I haven't balanced the carbs yet....
Update to come on my build thread with a video.

Slow return / rough idle is common of air-leak.
Try balancing them first, if you cant get it to idle well, set the rpm to aroudn 2000 and spray carb cleaner around the rubbers when its running, if your idle changed you found your air leak/

Another symptom I've found on the bike is it does not like starting when warm. It seems to need a little play of the idle adjuster and/or a little choke.
Could this be pointing more towards an air-leak or something else?

Too rich still, same issue I had with the 24.
