Think 30&35s need to be priced a little lower than Daytona 675's.
I know the shortlegged riders may not swap, but I bet several owners would, after a test ride.

You can pick up a mid 90s Fireblade for less than a 675, so what exactly is your point? The value of a motorcycle isn't linked directly to it's horsepower or speed, otherwise no bike would cost more than a secondhand Hayabusa or ZX12. It's linked many factors, and precisely zero of them are how much quicker you can go for less money.

I test rode a 675 before buying a new 600RR in 06 (mistake) however after riding a 675 now, personally for me, it doesn't tick my box's in a bike. As speedy says, you can't compare like for like, trying to compare a RS focus with a Audi S5

There is no correlation between classics & modern stuff.
Vincent Black Shadow, Z900/Z1 perhaps even RC30 are trounced by modern stuff in most areas - they still command a premium though

Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder. For the cost of a fairly presentable RC30/45 you could buy something reasonably modern day exotic like an 1199, one of the limited MV F4-1000s, or some tractor like custom thing from America. Which is fastest? Which has the most precise engineering? Which has the most craftsmanship put into the finished article? Probably a different answer in each case? But, which is 'worth' more? The one YOU want. The one you covet. The fact people pay well into five figures for RCs and Hardly Goingsomes means that they are both appreciated very much by sections of the market. However, you simply cannot quantify what is 'best' because they exist to cater for completely markets.
