It is very possible to change the rear disc on the NC30 without removing the axle.

4 years ago now but still true.

Fiddley but do-able.

It's like the cam-chain on the ZXR400, main people cant get it on or off withuot cutting part of the engine castings off but for me its very easy, its all about the angles.

Next time I have to take the rear-disc or the wheel off the NC30 I will get a picture of how to do it, or make a video if people are still having trouble.

I might take the wheel off soon anyway as I want to give the inner spokes a full clean.

So, is it a resounding 'YES' that you can remove the NC30 rear disc without removing the axle.
