I think the point was that you can get Carbtune's adapters in brass and stick them in place now for when you do get one as long as you blank them off, if that's your cup of tea. It's actually £8 for four, and if you want blanks for them it's another £3, but they don't charge post. From DSS, it'll be £2.50 plus £1.95 post plus VAT, which makes £5.34. You may find them elsewhere for less, you never know....

I bought a Carbtune and the 90 degree bevel drive screwdriver as I was feeling brave at the time. You're a bit far away for me to nip round with it!!

Indeed.. the 4 take off adapters in brass and blanking plugs is around 11 quid posted. youll spedn over half tht for just the 1 from dave silvers.

Also the brass take offs will let you use any carb balancer on the bike.

Either will sort it though.

About to buy 4 brass adapters + 4 caps for them, but I don't know what size - 5mm or 6mm?

If you look at the section where they still list the extensions for staying on the bike at all times (but say out of stock/NLA), they say 5mm suits any Honda.

"5mm kit fits:
Any Honda, GS Suzukis that use adapters."
