I can't quite remember well but im sure there is a club of 400cc owners who have gone over 100,000kms. (62,000 miles)
Even the old cbr250s that rev to nearly 20,000rpm make it quite regulary providing the oil is changed and the bike isnt owned by a numpty.
Good testament to Hondas build quality.
Providing the bike has been maintained properly then high mileage shouldnt be a put off if it is runnign well.. consumables like the shock and forks needing overhauling and bearings can be cheap if they havent been replaced as they do wear out but the old honda 250/400 engines will go on quite a while without many issues.

Mine currently has 39000 on the clock but I don't think they're not the originals so it might have done more or less.
My engine sounds to be in good shape with no ticks or knocks, it runs smoothly and the gearbox shifts nicely enough so I'm assuming it has plenty of life left. I do know it had a replacement clutch not so long ago so I expect that won't need any attention for a while either. Mechanically and electrically, the bike is in great shape irrespective of it's mileage, it just suffers with chipped paint on the wheels (which I'll get powder coated) and tired fairings (might go chinese or paint the existing ones) but I intened to keep it running until it won't run anymore!
My bike went to the Nurburgring back in 2008 with it's previous owner and it never missed a beat. I went on my FJ in '09 but by then, everyone was on Suzuki GSX-Rs of varying descriptions..
