was eager to put it on, so here´s the pics:

looks like just the job that,
i recon at a squeeze, you should be able to turn it off without removing the tank, you could always make a long thin tool with a "V" in to grip the tap and turn it
the reason i'm so hot on being able to turn the tap off without undoing the tank is i had a rubber hose go in a big fashion and was pissing petrol everywhere and i was in the middle of nowhere with no tools
a mate had a basic kit with screwdriver so i could turn the bugger off, then got recovered home
otherwise i.d have sat there watching all my fuel poring out and hoping none in a car flicked a fag butt out the window, i was on the side off a main road after all

Re: Is there a known replacement for th 3TJ fuel tap ?
i once had a hose coming loose from my flatslide carbs on my FZR 1000, was not really happy with that as well.
happened in a village, engine was stumbeling, i looked town and saw the mess, fuel running to the exhaust.
A local bloke saw me, i yelled at him to get me a bucket of water - damn was he quick !
i was very lucky, nothing happened.
