Well we thought so which is the important thing. What do you think they're worth?hannakournikova wrote:nice one, suppose you got a billy bargain buying them both together!?!

Re: New bike
Didn't pay that much but not far off it for 'ours', less for the other but tbh they're both really nice. Second nicest NC35 I've ever seen (nicest was one I saw that had done ~8k but the owner paid nearly 4k for that).
There are a few niggles that I'll be sorting out, my wife hasn't decided about the screen yet, we have a couple of spare std shape smoked screens but she's quite keen on the 'double bubble' aspect as she doesn't ride that many miles a year she finds it hard going on the neck over 100[1].
Also one of the front brake discs has been replaced with an EBC one, need to replace either that with a std or replace the other with an EBC to match them.
It's even got the little plastic cap that covers the split pin on the rear wheel, never seen one in the flesh before!

[1] Not of course that we ever go over 70mph!

Re: New bike
Now that you bring that up, do these things fly off and get lost all the time. I still have one on my bike but it's just lightly pressed in and that was my first thought that it would eventually come off. I thought about drilling a smalling hole and safety wiring it to the split pin. What do most owners use?fastdruid wrote: It's even got the little plastic cap that covers the split pin on the rear wheel, never seen one in the flesh before!

I've got a load somewhere but not to hand, only one I have is this one (Note spare RC24 engine :D )

EDIT: My wife just pointed out it's an MC17 not an MC14.

oh man thats ace! I wonder if that engine would fit in that frame.... :D
I was offered a Hurricane MC19 a few weeks back, was too rough cosmetically for £800 . It did have twin lights though which I didn't think the 19's came with. Guy had also took the preload off the camgears so it sounded so roooguh at idle.
Did ride nice though, i'm sure a decent and cheap one will turn up at somepoint!!
