That's just screaming out for the busted panels to be removed and piled in the garage corner then a good paraffin Wash down before work begins, just bought a similar abandoned Neglected Nc that had been dropped then parked up in the guys garden for a couple of Months although not quite as rough looking as yours at moment once cleaned up you will see the potential is there Good luck .

Well pulled bike to pieces yesterday and this morning, all in very unloved nick but complete, bike is a cat c write off in 1990. So only on the road for 12 months in uk imported 1989. Apart from being very neglected everything seems ok so far my needed list goes like this, bottom rad,L/H switch gear, screen brace,reg/rect, infill panels, mirrors think that's it so far. Have checked engine on the bench cylinder compression is all around 200psi, valve clearances all check out too. Anything else I should check whilst on the bench?
