RC30 forks are unpolished, [linished?] and clear finish. [Scotchbrite will bring them back to original finish, then stove enamel clear laquer]
NC 30 UK RL 1990 fork [grey] NH236M Sparkle frost silver metallic.
NC30 UK RM 1991 fork [black] YR 147M Max brown metallic.

But I don't think anybody is able to mix the yr147m colour though according to Zebulons thread. Will have a go though.

Perfect. Thanks for clearing that one up. Thinking about it, this is probably what Simon was getting at - the fact that people often polish (or linish) and clear lacquer UK spec NC30 forks to mimick RC30s when, in fact, they should be painted.

Have you spoken to Jawel Paints?
They've mixed some pretty difficult JDM only colours for me in the past

If all else fails, then take the fork to a paint supplier and match up with their colour chart.
RS paints say they can supply all the shades.

Any decent trade paint suppliers will match it.
I had mine powder coated by redditch powder coating, cost £45, but they're grey, no hint of brown in there. My bike's not concours and wasn't intended to be. Why honda used a brown/grey metallic remains to be known!
