A quick question if I may Mike, are you still using nikasil plated cylinders. The info on your web site suggestion you have gone bask to bore OEM liners.

They Yamaha Rings are Chrome Plated and prefer to run against the cast-iron. We were seeing micro-welding on the ring faces against the NikaSil. So, we did indeed go back to the cast-iron, OEM liners. Also, at 57mm, we were not having any issues with boring through, like what occurs in the 58mm bores.
