Looks like one of the tabs is missing off the H-piece on the tail unit. Not much, I know, but it caught my eye.

I think he means the engine was negleted.

The build quality isn't bad at all on the ZXR, the NC30 is just more over-engineered, most things like underbuilt when put next to.

ZXR's do NEED a much more stricter service schedule, they also have camchains that need replacing. This is part of the reason you see so many neglected ones and people say they are unreliable.

If you service them properly when it's due they are just as reliable as any other bike, the VFR does seem to be able to take more neglect (not that it's good to neglect a bike)

Bike looks good at first glance but i'd say it's been crashed up, would like to check it's all straight and they are OE panels.

Aftermarket screen, bar-ends and forks make me think slide / front end crash.. the lowers have tell-tale marks of slide damage but not the end of the world.

System has obviously been cut too.

Any country with no / lax MOT you tend to find a lot of polished turds. In Japan there is no test for sub 250cc machines so you find many pretty 250's that are almost a death-trap
