Re: Stupid Question Time
If you google the part numbers they'll come up, it might be that they're in the US but it could be easier to buy them there than here.
They're probably not even expensive

Re: Stupid Question Time
Thanks BarryFZR and EC.
Now if I understand the rubber pads under the tank will be pushing the tank up and therefore the rear rubber against the cross mount at the back. In affect, there is nothing bolting the rear of the tank down. Are those rubber pads the 1HX-24182-00-00 that I mentioned before?
I can buy the parts EC, but before Barry's reply I could not understand from the parts book what was locating the rear of the tank. Therefore which parts to buy. I still do not know what the tab at the bottom rear of the fuel tank with the M6 hole that can be seen in my first picture is for. Any ideas?
Barry, your link to MotoGrid did not work for me, but if you give me a part number I can find it in the parts book.

Re: Stupid Question Time
yep it looks like you need two 1HX-24182-00-00
Anyone breaking one of these on ebay should let you have a pair for under a £5.. The Fzr600 89-1993 ones are the same too I believe ;o)
I would type it into google though and a link should take you to a online web picture (fiche) of the complete assembly just to check.
I wouldn't worry too much about that M6 hole. If I get a chance I will check it for you. Maybe a fuel filter..but I wouldn't sweat it.

Re: Stupid Question Time
Thanks again Barry. All good. I found some rubbers so I will be able to get the tank and its cover positioned now. I will change the rear tank mount so that it screws into a rubber mount on the new aluminum sub-frame.
