Big diameter gives higher horsepower because it allows the engine to rev higher but smaller pipe diameter give better back pressure which you need for torque. So the system would need to compromise one or the other .... unless .... if you could get the system to be smaller bore at lower engine speed then open it up from something like 8000rpm. Some kind of valve thing :o well for a road bike anyway :grin:
