Does fuel still get pumped to the carbs with the kill switch on? Just asking, like, as it may be the reason for my slight engine flooding last night...
Carbs are gravity fed, there is no fuel pump, but if the engine is turning over then they will be sucking fuel from the carbs, so yes you can still flood it.

Ooops. Still, after trying to start it with the kill switch on, then getting it going but having the revs just die down with full choke on, it started again after I left it for 10 minutes. It was still "hunting" a bit on the choke, but ran fine when it warmed up.
