hi, thanks for the replys. when i bought the bike it was running (not very well and had been stood a while) without an air filter, i fitted a foam one that i cut to size and oil'd.. the caps are on, after we balanced the carbs.
ive reset the pilot screw to 2.5 turns. it ticks over better but still not right, rising by 1000rpm, i cant detect any air leaks with wd40.. if i rev it and let it settle it comes back down slowly stopping at around 2500 before settling at 1500rpm normal?
