Re: NC29 Racers help needed
I spent a bit of time playing with this myself, trying several radiator combinations.
With headers similar to yours there is little you can do other than a slightly larger fireblade item, but looking at the size of your intake scoop you might not be able to fit it. With the HRC intake scoop (about an inch deep) the bigger CBR rad just fits between scoop and header. As soon as you have a radiator overlapping those headers your front tyre will touch it under heavy breaking. Trust me, I know.
I now run an '01 R1 radiator with a TSR exhaust (similar to the HRC system with a nice tight curve of the header pipe to free up room), the forks are in the standard position with the rear jacked up to compensate, just like GF says. I now have to tape up my radiator to maintain heat and I use a Tyga front guard which restricts the air more than the std one (I assume that because it LOOKS like it would).
As an aside there is an RS250 GP bike radiator that has a cut out for an identical styled airbox intake. I think it is off one of the 2000ish models with the single sided swinger. Expect to add a zero or two to the price for one of those, assuming you can find one. (I've ssen one and it was over $1500 of our pacific pesos - I paid less than that for the exhaust and rad I run now).

Re: NC29 Racers help needed
I run a cbr600f4/ f4i radiator. It is 50% larger than the stocker and just fits in.
One would have to bend or cap some tubes for ram air since it fits so snugly to the frame.
It doesnt over heat ever now, and I've considered taping some of it up as was mentioned.

Re: NC29 Racers help needed
Rick Oliver does a deeper race rad for NC30's that give around 30%-40% more cooling for the same frontal area (it's deeper but just fits in). He might do something that'll work on the 29.

Still need a picture? I'll out one on here in the next 24hrs - I might be able to show you std, long rad on std headers (this set up causes contact with the front wheel), and the long rad with TSR system (lots of space).

Front on view of the airbox scoop

Side view of the R1 rad with my original race exhaust - the curve of the headers doesn't give room for the rad, when you brake hard it contacted the front tyre.

I seem to have deleted my photo of the TSR headers - these have a tighter turn allowing another 30mm or so behind the front tyre. Plenty of room for the bigger rad and no contact under hard braking. I'll take another photo of this set up tomorrow as I'll be working on the bike to prep for next weekend.

Re: NC29 Racers help needed
cheers for that I can see how that R1 rad would have been a problem LOL, I think I am gonna probably try the NSR250 curved rad.
