The nc calipers are awesome when they're in good condition and have quality pads fitted.
I upgraded to sp1 calipers because it was cheaper than rebuilding the nc calipers (new seals, pistons, etc). And they look nice in gold...
My racebike has standard calipers, I couldn't want any more stopping power with slicks and awesome pads.

+2 did mine last year and they were rock solid with braided lines and the standard M/C and thats in comparison to kwak tokio 6 pots that were on the ZX6

The nice thing about Blade calipers is that they provide better feel (as long as you use the 5/8" blade master cylinder). The set up has less mechanical advantage over the stock brakes, meaning less chance of a panic braking lock up, yet more ultimate stopping power with approximately 12.5% more swept area. There is also a larger range of pad materials available for the Blade calipers. I wouldn't revert to the standard calipers after 8 years of using the Blade versions.
