i've tried xerapol, meguers plastic polish and even toothpaste ffs

rubbing compound (aerosol based, you can get it in halfords near the paint), used with a clean microfibre cloth in a circular motion.
disclaimer: test carefully on an unseen part / spare screen etc first. your home is at risk if you do not keep up repayments. don't eat yellow snow.

Do the double bubble screens make much of a difference with the airflow? I have one on my GPX250 and it works fairly well as you are sitting up in the wind all the time. Figure it would work even better on the NC30 as it could push the airflow over the helmet?

managed to get me an original screen, with a few swirl marks and original stickers!
steve i see you say work in a corner first have you polished your screen? if so what were the results?
i didnt realise these screens were worth so much, i might just keep it hanging up

Bit of an odd one this.
In my opinion it's like this:
standard screen - comfortable on the road, all air directed to your shoulders
double bubble - directs air straight into your helmet when road riding (sat up) but gives you space to get into the bubble in a racing crouch on track.
I reckon the idea of double bubble screen being a comfort thing for road riders is a common misconception.
"flip-up" screens on the other hand would work I reckon.
