Ok back to the gripping question(sorry for the pun).
Who has used the air technique(air line) when fitting new grips?
I heard that it's much easier to do it this way and no worries over the alignment of the grip due to the ability to manipulate the grip into place. Would you still use the adhesive glue even though I will be wire locking the grips in place?

Hairspray FTW! :lol:

I use hairspray for every set of grips (with or without lockwire), gets them on easily and sets nicely.

likewise this is my method of attack, have you not clocked my silver can of asda hairspray on the shelf curt?

Just to report and close the thread, the hair spray technique worked a dream, now have new Ariete grips fitted to the bike and looks sweet.

have you not learned the lesson like me, Renthal or Ariete grips are FTW baby anything else looks shit and tacky

Hey guys, I've got an NC35, do I need a specifc size grip or are they one size fits all?

Can you guys recommend a specific Renthal or Ariete grip to buy?
