I think i shall tighten them a little more and see if it improves any.

Trust me there was no wanting to do it, gave my SV a handfull entering a side road and it just tank slapped and the parked car quite some distance away that I would have needed a minor steering correction to steer round became unavoidable! I was just about to bail (if it didn't spit me off first) when it stopped slapping. I've had worse tank slappers in terms of violence but nothing so bad as to be heading towards something solid with no way to steer!
