i also have an fzr 1000 stem early 88 its more heay duty than the 400 and same length and same thread pattern
and there not welded so i'll take the 2 and see what fits best

There are differences between Blu Spot calipers too mainly the piston sizes, some have one smaller, one larger others are two larger. Sometimes dead stop brakes are too much and you find you over brake for everthing, loosing valuable corner speed

3en2 stem was same as r6 stem so pressed in fine no machining needed, the fzr 1000 stem was few thou smaller and just slotted in, which was no good for anyone interested

now i have to make a collar for top yoke!

no cant wait , they feel so much smoother, anyone know stock spring rate for the 2000 5eb forks?

I had a quick look in the '99-'01 R6 manual and found this, should be useful to you.

Spring rate (K1) - 7.5 N/mm (0.75 kgf/mm)

Free length - 251.8 mm - Limit - 246 mm

Fork oil
Recommended oil - Suspension oil “01” or equivalent

Quantity (each front fork leg) - 476 cm3

Level (from the top of the innertube,
with the inner tube fullycompressed,
and without the fork spring) - 107 mm
