Arghhhh.... don't mention X7's....

My first "big" bike was an '84 X7, i spent months tracking it down, only to find out that it went to the dump just before i found out who owned it. There is also a feature on X7's in this months Motorcycle Mechanics magazine, which i have so far refused to read, as i have been hankering for another one after seeing an X7 for sale on a local forum for £300.
I can't buy anymore "projects" until i finish at least one of the bikes that i am working on at the moment. I am currently have the SS50, an '81 650 Katana and a '86 CR 125 in various stages of restoration and very little time to work on them.

I know what you mean Oollit, I'm probably going to sell the 400/4 and just keep the FZR and the Bimota

^^ Nah, keep it EC, if you have had it for a while then the sentimental value will probably be worth far more than any money you will get selling it, unless you need the money to walk the soon to be Mrs EC down the aisle. Congratulations on that mate.

I am putting up a new garage at the house, and i intend to fill it with as many bikes as i can. Some restored and some unrestored, as i always wanted to have a good collection of bikes. I am now making a little bit of money out of the business so i can afford to loosen the purse strings a small bit.

Hi all, Sorry to hijack the thread slightly but I have a very nice 4DX virtually exactly the same as the pricey one you have highlighted. Mine is in the forum "For Sale" section. If anyone is interested I live in East Yorkshire for viewings.

Cheers, Paul.
