Got some carb cleaner from halfords in the end, just had to go to a different area. It did do the job!! Thanks a lot for the help. Very happy indeed! Do I need to take the carbs out to give them a proper clean or what do I need to do to stop this happening again?

ill probally get blasted for saying this but maybe it wouldnt hurt to drop a bit of Vpower in you next fill up, as the detergents will help remove/brakedown the crap, but in all fairness the best option is to remove them and clean then the old fashioned way.
