We got the bike down to just over 143 kilos dry. For front to rear bias you,ll have to talk to Mike BMC Racing :o

and remember to consider your sprung to un-sprung weight ratio, the higher the ratio the better your suspension works.

so going very light on sprung weight will make the bike very choppy and chatter-prone, in the feel coming from it.

A front or rear suspension system on a production bike is often around 15-25kg, that is wheel, tire, swingarm/fork and brakesystem.
