If so and its still leaking try going a 1/8th turn tighter.
They are only meant to be 8nm which is finger tight, I am using a ratchet which will be more than this, unfortunatly at this low torque my wrenches are very inaccurate

8NM is quite a bit more than finger-tight, unless your the hulk. lol

If your only doing it finger-tight no wonder they are leaking.

Yep get the right stuff and its great.

The one i use is made by CarPlan, labelled Gastite Multipurpose silicone sealant and more importantly has "Withstands High Temperatures" on it. Paid about £7 for a whole tube. It will more than likely go off before i run out of it as there is enough for about 100 bikes lol :grin:
