did you rest the front wheel with disks on on anything? this can bend them, I always but my rear face side down and front inside the rear.

All that I did was put the wheel on a rug in the garage whilst I took the disc off, flipped it over and did the other side. After painting the centres I did everything in reverse and ther was no pressure on the disc, nor were they banged at all!

Seen some wavy discs on fleabay for £89 pair, might try them....................................

I wouldnt sell it, after all that effort, I know I would only get pissed off about not gettting what I want for it!
Only people like us, here on this forum & alike, can really appreciate whats gone into it.

Your bike sounds just like mine, has had far too much money, time & effort spent on it!
Mine will never be sold, the only person that will get their grubby hands on it will be my daughter & shes 5! ha, ha!

Did you paint the mounting face where the disc sits or did you clean all paint off afterwards? This can cause the problem but ive never had it when i have painted mine.

Hi Mark,

I painted the whole of the inner carrier, front and back. They had 2 coats of primer, 3 of gold top coat and three of laquer. I wouldnt have thought that this would have made a difference, but the slight judder was definately not there before hand. Maybe I should remove the paint from the mounting surfaces?

definitely remove the paint from the facing surfaces.
