i do hope it runs- i was assured by the garage owner that it ran when he took it in...
thats a very kind offer... from this one i was after:
forks, rear shock, engine, rads, clip ons, rearsets, ethos system and a few bits off the loom...
i figured that if i could make a few hundred quid back off the rest of the bits then it should be quite a bargian...

id be more than happy to take any "un-wanted" spares off your hands :-) im something of a collector....

lol, was worth a shot :-)
the rearsets on this one are aftermarket- not sure on which type yet, but will post up plenty pics one i get to the breaking.
got a twinstack on my road bike at the minute, so not really in "need" of anything- id just be kicking myself if i let it go.
never had the chance to pull an NC30 apart before as i need mine to get to work. should be a good chance to learn.
will insist on hearing it run before i leave a deposit...

Update: right- went to see it earlier tonight- under closer inspection, it seems to be in good nick. will find out all the hidden nasties once i start to strip it down....

after some initial confusion as to wether or not there was any fuel in the tank (there wasnt) we hooked it up to a battery booster, 30 secs on the starter and she fired up-
apparently she'd been sitting for a year or so- so i was pleasantly surprised.
engine sounded ok- although i dont have tons of experience (in fact this is only the third NC30 ive heard in the flesh)
no loud clicking or tapping- and exhaust sounded lurvely.
managed to snap a few more pics to help with identifying some of the aftermarket bits.
as always, help is greatly appreciated :-)

The rearsets look similar in design to what Coerce make for other machines but not tere NC30 model. Perhaps they're earlier Coerce examples.

Btw I'd be interested in a few things off it if you're looking to break it.

i was thinkin coerce- but i didnt recognise them...
also un-earthed a HRC cdi, and some disc's that say RACE USE ONLY on them :-)
i think theyre made by BES or something...
i have indeed now broken said bike-(only frame swinger and motor left in one piece) most parts will be available for sale, and as always forum members get first dibs.
if you want something, just ask and we'll go from there :-)
will get some better pics up in the next couple days.
cheers all!
