The TRX engine is going back into my TRX once all of the parts are cleaned up and stuff. I was going to use the Thundercat front end in that but have got an early YZF750 usd front end for it instead

I bought a pair of wheels from Lorence (Lorenzo) for my 3TJ. The front wheels are the same.

Yep, I'm on PB too. Have you got the TRX rear wheel in your 3TJ? How does it go?

No ... I had a 3TJ one. Because the TRX rear is wider the tyre profile is pulled to a slightly different shape so the TJ should turn a little quicker.
I bought the wheels for the front, they had good tyres and discs on too. I used the tyres (BT21's) until they were about 1/2 worn ... then got boredand changed them at a trackday. I sold the discs on so I guess I did ok out of the deal.

I'm really tempted to try the motor in a 3TJ, just not sure on the feasibility......

Im not sure what need doing to the frame but i know its not reversable.
