Re: She lives
My shock has turned up with the sender.
Much joy and celebration.
Credit must go to M6rk, from whom I bought it and pursued the claim with the Royal Mail.
That's made my season,so far.

Re: She lives
On the dyno today.
Was really nervous that the jetting would be a nightmare to get right.
I started with the 8ZF needles all round and 130f/132r mains.
Restricted air jets.
First run revealed the needles were seriously rich and the mains were seriously lean.
Didn't chance a WOT run.
Changed needles to 8ZG and 138f/140r mains.
Problems solved, still a tiny bit lean past 12,300rpm.
Serious linear curve, made 57bhp@12,300.
Next run was to the limiter but she blew coolant all over the place due to my knackered lower rad.
So never got to the limiter.
Needed 140f/142r main jets but I didn't have them,gutted.
Dyno man was well impressed with the results out of a bone stock motor.
So,I'm back again next week fully equipped and I'll have some graphs.
I'm very happy to say the least.

Re: She lives

Needing paint.
Out on Saturday,so paint can wait,I'll prime the tank alright.
There must have been 2kgs of old paint on it.
I think a silver tank is the way to go.
The RVF seat unit gives a lot more room.
I have an NC23 front wheel to add, have to paint it black to match the rear I have.
I'm liking the original gold colour, but it's easier paint it to match the rear.
Thanks to all on here for advice and parts.
It's go go go time.....
