I would be very careful about pumping air into the fork-top valves as it is so easy to blow the seals

Must be me but I like the soft feeling of the bike, it's one of its characteristics.. when I jump on the ZXR it feels like im sitting on a rigid frame its that stiff! :D

Formerly RacingSlug. Felt like a change and it came down to either Biscuits, Ben10 (possible copyright issues) or NinjaSmokeWarrior. The wife suggested TwatMan.

Maybe the anti-dive isn't working. Or someone has put the fork internals into the lowers incorrectly.RacingSlug wrote:If I'm just cruising the front feels fine, pliant and supple, if a little squidgy. But under anything than light braking the front dives like the bikes just seen a dropped £50, not quite bottoming but damn near the end of travel.

Re: Bit soft up front (nc24 forks)
how much???
might as wellbuy some second hand forks
i dont know how i managed it either, must be a special talent. i took the spacers out, added 10mm, went to put the top back on, pressing it down flat as poss while gently turning it. took a bit of pressure to get it pushed down enough to seat, must have been at a slight angle
threads not too bad, hopefully can repair it....

Re: Bit soft up front (nc24 forks)
If you jack the forks up / take the weight off them, it's a lot easier to compress the springs and screw the caps on
