The NC29 basically bolts straight in, the NC23 you have to cut and weld the frame?
Ha bolts straight in your funny!
The 23 is child's play compared to getting the 29 in the right place.
warrior64 if you want to know more your going to have to post a reply or something?
Ok I may be wrong about the NC29 going straight in as I can't find the threads on the old site at the moment. However take a look over
here, Drew70 shows his NC23 with a 600 engine whereby the frame has been cut and rewelded. If you consider this childs play then I may have a job for you and I dread to think what the NC29 requires?

thanks for all your replies on this,I've been trying to log on all week but wouldn't take my password but today it did
as to why, couple of reasons really, the lump's really noisy so need a transplant,i weigh 16 stones so power to weight ratio isn't great and i just can't leave things standard,my last bike was a blackbird with a single sided swing-arm conversion, the small bike are more fun though,i had an NC 30 for about 5 years and you could thrash the arse out of it

i think the point is as long as you spend loads of money and never get it back you must be doing something right.

Well Ive worked out if you drill a big hole and weld a pipe on the back of the thermostat housing
(

which is part of the head

) you could save a shit load but not all of the frame work.
Unlike mine.

I have a 1999 CBR 600F engine, anything i could do with that? Also, If there are hairline cracks down the welding on a frame can it be fixed?

Find yourself a coded welder who also has ultrasonic test equipment.
Any progress on the 600 conversion?
