The scitsu people do different tachos for different types of bike as the rev range/cylinders ect differ. They colour code the tachos with different coloured dots on the back. If you do a google for scitsu there is all the info you need, but the one with a blue dot is the one you need for the fzr.

......apparently the same tacho for a cbr 400 works on an fzr 400 3tj CDI if thats any use .

Can't remember , i sold one of my spare ones of my 400 and the guy that bought it said it was for a cbr400 , sorry ............
