cant strip mine down like that unfortunately as i live in a flat with no garage....
have to use my al fresco workshop. aka the pavement.

I sanded down some bracketry and hammerited them up
Discs painted using bbq spray
new clocks were opened up and mileage adjusted to match the last recorded mot mileage
speedo converter fitted so I don't need to derestrict it or use an mph overlay
tada

now time to remove exhuast.
surface rust only :)
Managed to snap a stud removing the rear exhaust manifold grrr.
ground it off, and will spot weld a bolt in place
wire wheeled up ready for vht paint
Spent about 2.5 hours with a wire wheel, amazed how well the exhaust came up, a bit of metal polish and et voila :D

next onto the rads..
Went to see a very nice man with lots of nc30 goodies..
Got a fork rebuild kit, headlights, exhuast gaskets, modified linkage clipons and some other goodies...
coming along nicely :)
picked up the following:
Modified linkage / jackup kit
Fork upgrade kit
Air Filter
Plugs
Clipon bars

So first job was to degrease and clean up the engine / swingarm area.
I got a new stud spot welded into place, so finished cleaning up the rear manifold and vht sprayed it
put the new plugs in, then forgot i needed to add the ht lead adaptor thingy
reassembled the clocks, just waiting for new foam surrounds for them

headlights reaffixed to the clock bracket
Then began work on the forks.
Old springs were progressively wound ones and too soft for my lardass. Valving could be improved too
The pic is of the old spring
forks stripped, old oil (bleugh) removed and new spring's installed

Last job of the day was to install the new clipon tubes into the existing clamps with new bolts
Forks now in the yokes :)

next job is to rob a bank to pay for the tyga exhaust then I can begin to put it all back together :)
Wheels come back from the powdercoaters tomorrow :)

, its the best thing you cudda done with it!
although by doing this, your bank statements will look unhealthy for a while, your patcience wll be tested and the last thing on your mind at night wont be your Mrs... Hahaha
I have been up2 what you been up2.
Im yet to finish my NC30 PROJECT.. Mine looked worse than yours did at the start! but im comming to the end now.

Give me a shout when your doing the BANK JOB... Because Id like the full tyga exhaust for my bike too,, Haha.
