Re: my nc30 rothmans project
I sanded down some bracketry and hammerited them up

Discs painted using bbq spray

new clocks were opened up and mileage adjusted to match the last recorded mot mileage

speedo converter fitted so I don't need to derestrict it or use an mph overlay

tada

Re: my nc30 rothmans project
now time to remove exhuast.

surface rust only :)

Managed to snap a stud removing the rear exhaust manifold grrr.

ground it off, and will spot weld a bolt in place

wire wheeled up ready for vht paint

Spent about 2.5 hours with a wire wheel, amazed how well the exhaust came up, a bit of metal polish and et voila :D

Re: my nc30 rothmans project
So first job was to degrease and clean up the engine / swingarm area.

I got a new stud spot welded into place, so finished cleaning up the rear manifold and vht sprayed it

put the new plugs in, then forgot i needed to add the ht lead adaptor thingy

reassembled the clocks, just waiting for new foam surrounds for them

headlights reaffixed to the clock bracket

Then began work on the forks.
Old springs were progressively wound ones and too soft for my lardass. Valving could be improved too
The pic is of the old spring

forks stripped, old oil (bleugh) removed and new spring's installed
