They are cbr 600 forks, so they are longer and need to stick up through the yokes to keep the same wheel base and yes before you ask they are an upgrade but only if you don't have the fully adjustable forks anyway.

Just to answer the couple of the questions raised:
The forks are actually Tri Arm - slightly longer than the NC29 hence the tube above the top yoke - we use these for several reasons - they have better std. damping characteristics than the NC29 - are cheaper to buy and easier to locate second hand - and when fitted with Race Tech springs / Compression Emulator Gold valves and a set of NC30/29 preload adjusters - simply stunning front end control.
The rearsets are CNC made by us to a standard road position as Chris likes the comfort they give. Never touch down in normal conditions - we are up approx 15 mm at the back on ride height - standard front end height - short race pegs fitted.
Keep the questions coming - its fine.

Cleaning the ally frame and swinging arm - well firstly 100% strip it and I mean 100% - then blanked off.
De greased - pressure washed - dipped in our tank used for stripping brake callipers - few minutes only - cold pressure washed again - hey presto as clean as it gets - you get a few smere marks on the external ally finish - quick clean with Solvol soon sorts that - it's a full days work though ...
I always like to built a super clean race bike - you can then spot any issues very easily. Every component reassembled is then marked with a white engineers pen so I know where I have been.
Carl our race meeting mechanic works with a different color engineers marker so we can BOTH check what is going on. Safety 1st.
Hope that helps.

Hi Graeme,
How far are the forks sticking up through the top yoke? I have nc23 forks on my nc29 and have now changed the tops bolts to the nc29's, but i think my forks are to high though the top yoke.
Thanks
Lee
