A lot of racers find the standard set-up more than adeqate. A good condition standard mastercylinder, fresh fluid, braided hoses, re-built standard calipers and Honda's own pads will be more than enough to stop you.
As much as I agree with how rewarding it is to out-brake a bigger bike into a corner, that's not a lot to do with your brakes, its more about the rider. If it's any condolence, I have a video of me braking into a hairpin and out-dragging a Mille/Tuono in a straight line. Difference is, I didn't care if I fell off, he obviously did. Now, if you are racing at the top of your class and a Brembo m/c and uprated calipers is the last thing on the list to get you that last 0.05s per lap to win a race then by all means go for it, otherwise re-furb what you have and enjoy it.
