Exup bushes

Post by buzzawak »

Hi all, anyone know the dimensions (using a micrometer) of the EXUP solid bush?
This is the bush that the EXUP valve swings on. Yamaha here wants $50 each for
something worth $6. Bugger if I will pay $50.

I got around to taking off the exup valve bushes yesterday. Looks like a carbon bush and also has a dust seal on the outside.
The size for future reference is ID 10mm x OD 17mm x 7mm

Question, what would be the best way to get the inside bush out of the exup housing?

Hi, i dont think the one in the exup housing is bushed (mine wasnt worn that end), i just pressed the pipe in the ceramic bush in the cable end.

From the parts listing the same bush is used at both ends.
