ditching the ignition switch
I'm looking to get shot of the ignition switch on my 4dx track bike. I thought it would be a simple case of removing the switch and connecting up a simple rocker switch to the red/brown wires of the connector block just under the front of the tank.
Simple......or not as it turns out. I'm not getting anything when i try the switch.
Nothing!
Help!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: ditching the ignition switch
It's a 4 wire circuit - when you look at the keyed switch in has a 4 proned switch like a star they need to connect in that pattern.
Most of the race bike I've seen keep the switch removing the pins and turnig it on with a screwdriver
