K-Conversions fairing fitting
Hi there,
Is anybody there who have experience fitting this fairing? I have received all fairing now and today we have tried to fit it.
- Mudguard fit properly.
- Tail unit no fit. I remove all pars - CDI, rear brake fluid reservoir, FUSE and so on. And anyway we can fit it.
- Front bottom unit look need small modifications, but it will fit I hope. Front unit no fit - I look like it need mounting kit
If possible to make it by your own, but I doesn't no measurement of it. I know other guy from old forum fit this fairing and measured this kit, but all post lost.
NEED HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: K-Conversions fairing fitting
had that trouble with mine. do the following:
cut of all parts that the lugs attach to (aka cdi mounts etc...cable tie things on later)
cut off the screw holes for the rear hooks, make sure its flush with the fairing!
cut of the section of the sub frame that the hanger bolts to
bend upwards 90 degrees the arms that stick out and help hold the body work on
I'll take a piccy tomoz of my hacked subframe. It is a pain in the arse!

Re: K-Conversions fairing fitting
Hi Faster400.. Good to have you on forum. Spend all day to fit rear unit and unfortunately I can't. As you said before - I need to cut all this thing on rear unit.
Could you describe (or maybe put the picture) where and how you fit mounting brackets?
Thanks.
