radiator level
Afternoon peeps,
This might be a simple question or a real baffler.
I have only just got my NC29 back on the road after a lonely 3 years. I filled the system via the radiator. I did all the things I was told. i.e fill radiator allow to run and top up accordingly.
every time I checked the radiator it was only half full (is this normal)? I had been topping up the radiator each time it went down. the I noticed I was losing water through the overflow.
I have asked many people for advice but can't seem to find two people that think the same. Some say I must be burning was through the exhaust (no signs of white smoke)
after use the expansion tank appears to have warm water in it (which makes me think the system is working)
The bike doesn't get hot (gage about half way at peak but generally runs just below half)
I spoke to a few people who have said radiator should always be full(again not sure if correct as one person told me they find their own level)
So......... Do I have a problem or am i trying to fix something which is not there?

Re: radiator level
You could have air in the system, squeeze a few of the hoses a few times to try and work some of the air to the top, run it whilst its on its stand.
Im sure somebody will come up with a few more ideas but this one worked for me

Re: radiator level
Thanks.
I tried that along with filling it up slowly while running and I bled the system and repeated but I can't seem to figure!
